The largest and coolest water park on the Canary Islands, with slides, pools and wave machines. Fun for old and young alike. There is also mini golf, restaurants, safety boxes and sunbeds. Located in the Maspalomas Valley. Open daily: 10.00-18.00 (summer) and 10.00-17.00 (winter).
In the bird park Palmitos Park you will find tropical plants, exotic butterflies, meerkats, wallabies and other animals. This gorgeous oasis lies in the middle of a valley surrounded by high mountains. Stroll about in the botanical garden with palm tree groves, tropical flowers birds of prey and thousands of colourful parrots. Also, don’t miss the butterfly house, the orchid house and the aquariums. Every day they put on different shows. The park has also opened a dolphinarium with a couple of shows every day.
Embark on this glass bottomed catamaran and experience the subaquatic life in a protected area. If you are lucky, you may see whales and dolphins swim around the boat. You do this trip on your own, but you can buy the ticket from our guides. No meals included.
The shopping in Las Palmas is the best on the island, with El Corte Inglés, Mango, Zara and a host of smaller shops and boutiques to choose between. Besides being the commercial capital of the island, it is also the cultural capital, with several museums and events, like the Opera Festival in May, the Carnival in February and the Catalina Park where there is always something going on.
